3 way cookies

I had a jar of peanut butter in my kitchen for some time now and I had no idea what to do with it. After some heavy brainstorming, I ended up with three different cookies!  I got the recipe of the dough I used for all three from Hershy’s: Best-Loved Recipes and the second cookie was adapted from Picky Palate.

1 cup shortening

2 tablespoon water

1 1/2 cup sugar

2/3 peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/2 all purpose flour (with salt)

1 package Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, cut into fourths

1 package Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup

Step by Step

Preheat oven to 350°F

In a mixing bowl, place the butter, the sugar and the peanut butter, until creamy.

Add egg and vanilla, beat well.

Stir in the flour and mix until well blended.

For the first cookie place 1 tablespoon of dough into the cookie sheet and then press a piece of Mini Reese’s in the center.

For the second cookie, take 2 tablespoons of dough and place them in top of the Reese’s and take 2 tablespoons and place them

beneath the Reese’s and mold it into a cookie shape. Place on a cookie sheet.

For the third cookie, take 2 tablespoons of dough and make it in a ball and press Mini Reese’s in top.

Bake for 10-15 minutes.
