kikito’s chili (guest post)

My brother makes the best chili using my mom’s leftover beans and ground turkey. When he is hungry he always makes some easy meal with leftovers in our fridge and the worst part is every time I try to copy his recipe it quite doesn’t taste the same so I have to wait until the fridge is pack with those leftover and be for him to cook.

That’s my brother Kikito!!!!

2 cups cooked and seasoned ground turkey

1 cup drained red beans (He used small because we like those better)

1 teaspoon cumin

pinch of salt

1/4 cup onions

1 small chili

Step by Step:

In a saucepan drizzle some olive oil.

When hot, add the onions.

Let the onion caramelize a bit.

Add the beans and the ground turkey.

Then add the salt and cumin.

Last but not least, cut the chili and add.

Perfect pizza snack

It’s summer, I’m lazy, and always looking for the shortest way to do everything. Although I love to cook and can spend hour on one dish, when I’m hungry I want food instantly. But because it’s summer everybody is lazy (mommy dearest), therefore no food on the fridge. Lucky me the things on the fridge made me an yummy snack!

1 pillsburry country style biscuits
1 cup mozzarella shredded cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce

Step by Step:
Preheat oven 250F (it’s so low because I always forget I’m baking and only the smell of burnt biscuit remind me)
Take the biscuits and with your hand press them to make them skinny.
Add 1 tablespoon sauce.
Add cheese.
Roll like if it were a crescent.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.

nutella cupcakes

I love nutella, and I always want to eat everything with it. I have noticed that doing cakes and cupcakes with nutella it’s almost impossible, because it won’t taste like nutella unless you add more than three cups (not healthy, but delicious). That’s why recently for my graduation party I did some traditional Martha Stewart yellow cupcakes and filled them up with nutella.
